2. In brief
On this website we only process the data required to run the site and to answer your enquiries. This website does not set any cookies, does not use analytics, tracking or advertising services and does not embed any third-party content. Fonts, graphics and scripts are loaded exclusively from our own server.
3. Visiting the website
When you visit this website, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page as well as browser and operating system. This is required to deliver the website, keep it secure and detect errors.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. The website is operated by a hosting provider who processes this data on our behalf; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Log data is only stored for as long as necessary for these purposes and is then deleted.
4. Language
On your first visit to the English home page, your browser’s language setting is read locally in your browser to show you the German version where appropriate. This information is neither stored nor transmitted to us.
5. Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we process the details you provide: Your topic, your name, your email address, optionally your company, and your message. We use this data solely to handle and answer your enquiry. We need your name and email address in order to reply.
The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the checkbox in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If your enquiry concerns a contract or its preparation, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies in addition. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; an informal email is sufficient.
Your enquiry is sent by email to our mailbox and is additionally stored in the administration area of this website so that it is not lost. We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
To protect against automated mass submissions, an encrypted, non-reversible value derived from your IP address is stored for one hour when you submit the form. A hidden field and a time check detect automated entries without using any personal data. No cookies are set.
6. Contact by email
If you write to us by email, we process your email address and the information in your message in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract or its preparation is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in answering your enquiry. Deletion follows the same rules as for the contact form.
7. Links to other websites
This website links to the websites of our products and to other external sites. Simply viewing our pages does not transmit any data to these providers. Only when you follow a link does the privacy policy of the respective website apply.
8. Recipients of your data
We do not pass your data on to third parties. The exception are service providers who process data on our behalf and according to our instructions, for example for hosting and email. Should a service provider process data outside the European Union, this only takes place under the conditions of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent given at any time (Art. 7(3)). An informal message via the contact form or by email is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Thüringer Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit, TLfDI), Häßlerstraße 8, 99096 Erfurt, Germany, www.tlfdi.de.
